Smart Board Workshop
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend two smart board training classes through the school im interning at. Robert Mazza was our instructor, he works for Lee County as a Professional Development Resource Teacher: Instructional Technology. He was a great instructor, he was full of enthusiasm and walked us through what he was doing step by step, so we could remember how to do it again. He gave us his email its, [email protected]. he said if any teachers had any questions regarding the smartboard to just email him and he'd get back to us ASAP. I had already had some previous knowledge of the smartboard but for most teachers it was their first time working with them becuase, they just got smartboards at this school. I had no idea some of the boards capabilities though until Mr. Mazza showed us. I am no expert but I have much more knowledge of the smart board, its tools and tricks, after these training workshops. As teachers, it is important to not just think you know everything, but instead, continuously improve and keep up witht the latest tricks of the trade.
